【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiestheminimumstructuraldesigncriteriaandperformancerequirementsfornewandreinstatedmonolithicandmulti-componentmonumentsinburialgroundsandmemorialsitesinwhichmonumentsare:a)fabricatedfromnaturalstoneand/orconcrete;andb)installedaboveandbelowthenaturalgroundsurface;andc)whosetotalmassdoesnotexceed4t.Italsospecifiesrequirementsforcheckingtheconditionofexistingmonuments.ThisBritishStandardisintendedforusebyburialauthoritiesandmonumentalmasonsconcernedwiththeinstallationandreinstatementofmonumentsandthecheckingofexistingmonumentswithinburialgroundsormemorialsites.Itdoesnotsetouttoconstrainartisticendeavour.
