【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifieslevelsofsurfaceroughness/textureonsteelcastingsproducedbytheresinshell,lostwax,lostpolystyreneandShawmouldingprocesses(see2.5to2.8forabriefdescriptionofeachprocess).Surfacescreatedbysubsequentfettlingoperations(see2.4)arealsoincluded.Inadditiontothedefinitiverequirements,thisstandardalsorequirestheitemsdetailedinclause4tobedocumented.Forcompliancewiththisstandard,boththedefinitiverequirementsandthedocumenteditemshavetobesatisfied.NOTE.Acceptancelevelsshouldbeagreedbetweenthecastingproducerandpurchaserbyreferencetoasetofreferencetactilecomparatorswhichrepresentthesurfacesproducedbythefourmouldingprocessesafterblasting,andalso,surfacescreatedbysubsequentfettlingoperations.AnnexAcontainsfullsizephotographsofthecomparatorplatestoassistinmakingarapidreviewoftheoverallcontentoftheset.Itisemphasized,however,thatthecomparatorsandnotthephotographsshouldbeusedtoformthebasisofagreementAgreementandacceptanceisbyvisualexaminationandtouch.note:1)ForinformationontheavailabilityofcomparatorscontacttheBSIInformationCentre,BritishStandardsHouse,389ChiswickHighRoad,LondonW44AL.
